Green Garland - Artifical Garland Generator

slavik_dsgn in Theme Packages

Twenty artificial leaf garlands for Blender, placed four ways. Wrap one around a column, lay it along a curve, let it hang from a hook or drape it in swags. Pick a plant, select the object, click once. The garland finds the surface on its own, so your time goes into the shot, not into placing leaves.

Four placements

  • Wrap spirals around any mesh: columns, posts, poles, spheres or your own models.
  • Curve follows a curve you draw: arches, wreaths, table runners, handrails.
  • Hang drops from a point, from a short shelf trail to a full-length drop.
  • Swag drapes between two points in one dip or several.

Wrapping that fits the object

The garland reads the real surface of the object, so it sits as well on a square pillar as on a round column, and its leaves stay outside. Set the turns per metre or use the Loose, Medium and Dense presets. Choose where the wrap starts and ends, run several strands side by side, reverse the direction or loosen it up so it looks wrapped by hand.

Curves, hooks and swags

An ivy arch over a doorway, a ginkgo wreath, a runner across the table, a spiral up the handrail. Garlands hang in any length and swag across a fence or a mantel with exactly the sag you want. The pieces chain themselves along the path, so a garland is as long as the scene needs.

Twenty plants

English Ivy, Variegated Ivy, Golden Pothos, Philodendron, Hoya, Dieffenbachia, Speckled Dieffenbachia, Begonia, Rex Begonia, Geranium, Grape Ivy, Silver and Red Fittonia, Silver and Red Caladium, Ginkgo, Golden Ginkgo, Japanese Maple, Tradescantia and Ficus. Mix up to ten of them in one garland and set the share of each.

Natural, not copied

Every piece gets its own roll, scale and colour shift. Leaves turn outwards and up to the light, and step aside where they would cross. Change the seed for a new arrangement, or tune hue, saturation and brightness for the whole garland.

Ready for heavy scenes

  • Full, Low and Dummy previews keep the viewport responsive.
  • Renders always use full geometry; garlands far from the camera can switch to low-poly while rendering.
  • Garlands are saved in your .blend, so the scene opens and renders anywhere, even without the add-on.
