Does it work on Windows, macOS and Linux?
Yes. The add-on is pure Python and Geometry Nodes, with no compiled parts.
Do I need the add-on to open or render my scene later?
No. The garlands are stored in your .blend file, so the scene opens and renders on any computer with Blender 4.2 or newer, even without the add-on.
Will it slow down my viewport?
Each garland has Full, Low and Dummy previews for the viewport. Renders always use full geometry, and garlands far from the camera can switch to low-poly automatically while rendering.
Can I mix different plants in one garland?
Yes, up to ten variants in one garland, each with its own share.
How long can a garland be?
As long as you need. The garland pieces are chained along the path automatically, with a random start and overlap so the joins don’t show.
Can a garland follow my own path?
Yes. Draw any curve, select it and click Curve. Use Roll or the curve’s tilt to turn the garland so the leaves face the right way.
How do I control how tight the wrap is?
Set the turns per metre or use the Loose / Medium / Dense presets. You can also choose where the wrap starts and ends, how many strands run side by side, the direction and how irregular the spiral is.
Can I wrap my own objects?
Yes, any mesh: columns, posts, tree trunks, spheres or your own models. Select the object and click Wrap. The garland follows the real surface and keeps its leaves outside it.
Why is the download so big?
All 20 garlands come with 2K leaf textures packed inside the add-on, so there’s nothing else to download or link.
