Hellas Forge - Greek Architecture Generator
Can I use the generated geometry commercially?
Yes. Generated architectural geometry may be used in commercial and noncommercial projects. The add-on’s Python source is licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later; see the included license for details.
Can I export the models to another application?
Use Prepare Export Copy to create ordinary meshes with evaluated bevels and assigned materials, then export through Blender’s standard exporters. Material conversion and other requirements depend on the destination application.
Does the pergola include plants or climbing vines?
The pergola generator creates the architectural structure, including supporting columns, timber beams and slats. Vegetation and vine generation are not included.
Are the buildings historically accurate reconstructions?
The designs are historically informed interpretations of classical architecture. They are not measured reconstructions of specific archaeological monuments.
Domed rotundas and arcades use Cinematic mode for creative architectural designs.
Can I create ruins?
Supported generators include procedural condition variants. Available conditions depend on the structure type.
The new rotunda, pavilion and arcade generators support Restored, Maintained and Weathered finishes. Condition effects are procedural treatments rather than physical destruction simulation.
Are the columns and ornaments actual geometry?
Yes. Column capitals, fluting, carved ornaments, roof elements and arch stones are modeled mesh geometry. Detail levels control surface sampling and ornamental complexity.
Are materials included?
Yes. Built-in procedural materials cover architectural categories such as stone, roofing, timber and decorative accents. You can also generate geometry without materials or assign your own custom materials.
Can I change a building after generating it?
Yes. Select a generated component, click Edit Selected Structure, adjust its settings and use Regenerate Selected Structure. Parameters are stored in your Blender file. Lock manually edited components before rebuilding. Changes to the surrounding layout may require checking their alignment.
Can I edit the generated models manually?
Yes. Generated structures contain ordinary Blender mesh objects. Before editing an individual component, use Make Selected Unique and Lock to give it independent geometry and protect it during regeneration.
What can I create?
Create Doric, Ionic and Corinthian columns, temples, stoas, peristyle courtyards, theatres, palaces, sanctuaries and curved colonnades. Version 1.2.0 also includes domed rotundas, conical tholoi, roofed pavilions, timber pergolas and arcaded porticoes.
Which Blender versions are supported?
HELLAS FORGE 1.2.0 has been tested on Windows with Blender 4.2.23 LTS, 4.5.14 LTS and 5.2.2 LTS. Other versions and operating systems have not been verified in this release.
Is this a generator or a collection of static models?
HELLAS FORGE includes both procedural architectural generators and a native Asset Browser library. Generate structures from adjustable settings, start from one of 20 presets, or use the 39 included collection assets.
