If you are upgrading to a new version of HiPhyEngine, be sure to remove the older version first, then install the new version. You will need to restart Blender after, as HiPhyEngine contains dynamically linked libraries will need to restart to reload. You might need to re-enable HiPhyEngine after reboot.

The addon will work with Blender version 4.5+, installer or portable version. The Steam version of Blender might have permission issues that prevent the addon from installing the dependencies.

For physic simulation, it is important to model everything in world scale. HiPhyEngine provide a unit conversion parameter Solver Scale, to scale the model into the internal unit of the solver (cm). If your scene is in meters, then you need to set Solver Scale to 100 to convert from (m) to (cm).

HiPhyEngine guerantees intersection free simulation. But it also means that the starting and input geometry need to be intersection free! Please clean up the mesh before feeding it into HiPhyEngine. HiPhyEngine does provide parameters to turn off collisions on vertices if you do not want them to participate in collision and does not care if those areas are intersection free. Also always check the collision radius, if the collision radius is set too large, there can be large amount of collision that lead to slow or even failed simulation, as there might be no final solution that satisfies all the collisions.
