Can I customize how locked objects look in Edit in Place?
Yes — three modes available: wireframe (default), solid color with custom color picker, or bounding boxes. You can switch between them live during editing.
How do I edit an instance?

Just double-click any collection instance in the viewport.

The addon automatically enters edit mode, hides the rest of the

scene, and lets you modify the contents. Press ESC to exit.
