  I love this tool and have been using it for a very long time. The fact that the creator charges only $3 - $4 per year for updates - and still feels the need to justify it - is mind-blowing. Absolutely worth it. Keep up the great work, sir!

  Excellent addon that many have used before and really great artist to have made it that has probably saved 1000s time with all the tools and definitely a creator that cares about his users and gets back to them about anything I'd recommend this along with all the others from MACHIN3

  I had a negative knee-jerk reaction after trying to download the latest version of the add-on and reading now we have to pay. I thought this was yet another enshittified tool behind a subscription model. It didn't seem fair after having bought the Deus-Ex version twice with two different accounts just for the sake of supporting the developer.

  Then I stopped to think:
  - I saw the previous version was still available.
  - I saw the price for a year of updates was reasonable.
  - I remembered me buying the Deus Ex version was all about giving my money to a developer that deserves it in the first place.
  - I thought about all the time this add-on has saved me during all these years, even though I only take advantage of a small percent of its functions.
  - I red the developer's note and saw their point of view, and the fact that he never promised lifelong updates. And it was never reasonable to expect them anyway.
  - I remembered we're all human beings and we have to eat.

  5/5 addon and an absolute must.

  10/10 developer and addon! Fantastic support, amazing addon and great video tutorials and documentation. Really outstanding work all around.
  I purchased the DeusEx version for the asset browser features and discovered a lot of other really useful tools in there as well that I now use.
  The addon requires a little bit of effort to customize to ones liking. After that, it removes a lot of pain or inconvenience that Blender can cause. I recommend going through all of the features in the documentation to appreciate how much this addon can do.
  Due to the way DeusEx has improved my Blender experience, Id say this addon has brought more joy to me vs most other addons. An essential addon and definitely worth purchasing and supporting.

  Hi MACHIN3. I updated Blender to version 5.0 today. Then Machin3Tools stopped working. So I went to the Blender Marketplace to update my Machin3Tools.
  I purchased Machin3Tools in May 2024, so I now need to pay again. I read your explanation about "Why aren't Updates free?". I wanted to share some of my thoughts.
  We all use Adobe software to some extent. Adobe software is great, but its pricing strategy causes a lot of dissatisfaction. So much so that many people dislike Adobe as a company.
  Why? Because most users, after paying, only want to use very simple functions in Adobe software and use them relatively infrequently. Therefore, Adobe is very expensive for them.
  If I used more than 50% of the functions in Machin3Tools, $2 a year would be incredibly cheap. But I only use 2-3 functions in Machin3Tools, and they aren't even core functions.
  I don't know if I will pay to update Machin3Tools. Maybe I will.
  But I know one thing. After you launch the paid update, you will definitely receive a lot of criticism, just like with Adobe. The critics aren't saying your software is bad, nor are they unwilling to pay. It's because they use very few features or use the software very infrequently.
  Haha, I bought Meshmachine in August 2022 and updated it today. Your plugins are fantastic. I understand your difficulties. I will not criticize you for choosing to pay for the update. I just want you to know what I'm thinking.

  Great addon! I’ve been using it for years and recently bought the “Update DeusEx.”
  There are many tools, but one of the best is “Smooth”, it lets you preview your subdivision quickly, just like in other apps, without needing extra clicks in Blender.
  The same goes for “Thread,” “Group,” “Mirror,” and the mods pie, all super useful!

  I haven’t even used all the tools yet, and it’s already helped me a lot.
  Looking forward to Blender 5.0 support!

  there is so many great tool in this addon. although i couldn't use it all.. because... its already too many shortcut in blender! but i have to praise the DEUS EX and PUNCH IT! thats the only reason i bought this addon! my depending on this add-on is so much... so, please stay exist, to keep this addon alive!
