Maze Maker — Create, Customize, and Conquer Mazes
Overview
Perfect for game developers, animators, and 3D artists. Generate intricate mazes from your own instance objects, collections of objects, with automatic floor creation and a path-finder curve for precise camera motion.
Version 3 is a new design that allows you to create custom shaped mazes and also removes the old limit for larger scale mazes. Not only is version 3 quicker it has the ability to generate custom mazes from objects you want to use as the floor shape. We have added a button that will turn the given object into a floor mesh that you can use as the base of you maze.
- Entrances/Exits: Choose how many and what side they are populated on your maze
- Loop Probability: Add isolated walls (non-continuous).
- Rooms: Randomly generated interior rooms.
- Corridor: Adjust the size of the pathway corridors to make them larger
- Single Object: Use a single object for the walls
- Collection objects: Select a collection to use random objects in the collection for walls
What’s New in 3.0
Added custom shapes for maze generation.

Limitations & Warnings
- Performance: Larger mazes and higher recursion limits can be demanding—ensure your system can handle it.
- Small Mazes: Rarely, minimal settings may fail to create an exit.
- Using Collections: High poly modes in the collections can crash if your maze is too big for your computer to handle or will take a longer period to generate based on the mesh data.
