Can I use MoCast for commercial content?
Yes. You may use MoCast in commercial tutorials, courses, livestreams, and videos without restriction.
Does MoCast appear in final renders?
No. MoCast is a viewport-only overlay and does not appear in final renders or affect rendering in any way.
Does MoCast affect Blender performance?
MoCast is designed to be lightweight and unobtrusive. When inactive it has no impact, and when running it is optimized to stay out of the way of your workflow.
Can I save different layouts or configurations?
Yes. MoCast supports presets, allowing you to save and quickly switch between different setups for tutorials, livestreams, or recording sessions.
Can I customize the look of the overlay?
Yes. MoCast allows you to customize icon styles, colors, sizes, opacity, positioning, and even use custom images to match your personal or studio branding.
What operating systems are supported?
MoCast currently supports Windows 11. macOS and Linux versions are being explored but are not available at this time.
Which versions of Blender are supported?
MoCast supports Blender 4.4 and newer and has been tested up to Blender 5.0.
What software does MoCast work with?
MoCast works alongside any screen recording or streaming software, including OBS and similar tools. It complements your existing setup rather than replacing it.
Does MoCast record video or capture my screen?
No. MoCast does not record video or capture your screen. It displays a real-time input overlay directly inside Blender’s 3D Viewport, which is captured naturally by your recording or streaming software.
