Modular Industrial Room - 19 Pieces
Opening the download
Unzip the package and open modular_industrial.blend in Blender 5.2.2 LTS. Use Cycles. CPU is selected by default; you can choose your compatible GPU.
Scenes and assets
The example is a 6 x 8 m cutaway with tiled flooring, two walls, a fitted door and window, a staircase and a raised landing. The missing front wall and roof are intentional so you can see inside. The example uses repeated copies of the same modules; those copies are not counted again.
Use 01_Catalogue to inspect individual pieces, or 02_Example_Layout to see the arrangement. Add the extracted folder as an Asset Library and keep blender_assets.cats.txt beside the blend. The asset-marked objects have embedded previews. Appended objects may retain their catalogue positions; use Alt+G to reset their location.
Grid and assembly
Walls run along local +X and use 1 m or 2 m spans. Their origin is the left base on the wall centerline. Rotate 90 degrees around Z for a perpendicular wall. Floors use a lower-left origin on the top surface; place 2 x 2 m tiles at 2 m increments. The wall height is 3 m.
Place Door_Insert at (0.52, 0, 0.02) relative to Doorway_Wall_2m. Place Window_Insert at (0.42, 0, 1.02) relative to Window_Wall_2m. Both leave 20 mm edge clearance.
The stair climbs along +Y, with a 3 m run and 1.5 m rise. Place Landing_1_5m at (0, 3, 1.5) relative to its origin. Rotate Stair_Guardrail_3m by +90 degrees to match the stair. Rail spans use post-center distances; the tubes extend 25 mm past them. Place ceiling tiles at z=3.
03_Snap_Test shows connector guides. The download includes Assembly_Guide.txt and Module_Specifications.json with all dimensions and placements. Assembly is manual, with no snapping add-on.
Limitations
This is an editable mesh kit, not a procedural room generator or a full game level. Assembly is manual; no snapping add-on is included. Walls and concrete use procedural materials, while the door and treadplate use packed image textures. There is no rigging, door animation, LOD or collision setup. It is not construction documentation or a building-code-certified staircase.
