Morning Glory - Quick Boning
Can I adjust the skeleton after I've created the rig?
Yes, absolutely. Use "Revert to Joints" to convert the finished armature back into editable joints. You can then move, add, or delete joints and rebuild the rig. The revert function can optionally keep the old armature as a reference while you experiment, so you never lose your work.
How is Quick Boning different from manual bone placement?
Manual bone placement requires you to create bones in Edit mode, then repeatedly switch to Object mode to see where they land, then back to Edit mode to adjust them. This cycle repeats many times. Quick Boning skips this entirely: you click once on your mesh and the joint lands correctly inside the volume, with real-time visual feedback. You see exactly what you're building as you build it. For a typical character, this saves 20-30 minutes of adjustment work.
