Motion Sculpt V1.2 is here! This update focuses on making motion-path editing work more naturally with IK controls while keeping the tools you already know.
What's new in V1.2
Improved Auto-Rig Pro & IK editing
Better handling of connected and constrained IK controls, including foot IK path editing. Motion Sculpt now checks that path edits actually affect the control.
Live control-to-path feedback
Move a control in Blender and the position marker and path preview follow its evaluated pose. Once you key the change, the saved curve updates too.
New Curve Resolution slider
Choose a smoother-looking path when you need it. Level 1 keeps the original quality and performance; higher levels add visual detail without adding keyframes.
Everything familiar stays.
Soft Grab, tangent handles, Smooth, Make Arc, easing, Undo and the existing fast editing workflow are all preserved.

A new Motion Sculpt update is available with fixes focused on performance, live path feedback and smoother editing.
What’s improved
Better performance on heavier rigs
Motion Sculpt now avoids unnecessary rig evaluations during viewport drawing and reduces repeated background work.
New keys appear on the path automatically
Add a new Location key and the visible path now updates without needing to hide and show the path again.
Smoother tangent editing
Tangent handles update much more cleanly while dragging, with improved live curve display and a proper local resync when released.
Visual easing feedback
Ease In, Ease Out and Ease In/Out now include a simple visual guide so their effect is easier to understand before applying them.
This release is mainly about making Motion Sculpt feel more reliable during everyday animation work: less waiting, fewer manual refreshes, and clearer live feedback while shaping motion.
