How does the green screen work?
Load an image on green background. Use the eyedropper to pick the color. One-second cutout with tolerance, despill, and edge controls. No external software.
Can I save my setups and reuse them?
Yes. Brand Kit saves text styles and world settings as JSON. Target Presets save entire configurations including handle positions.
Does it work with existing scenes?
Yes. MotionDeck generates into the current scene. The Cleanup operator removes only MotionDeck objects.
Can I animate manually after generating?
Yes. All keyframes are standard Blender keyframes, fully editable in the Graph Editor and Dope Sheet.
Does it replace After Effects?
For motion graphics, camera animation, kinetic typography, and social content — yes. For compositing, rotoscoping, and VFX — no.
Can I use custom materials on text?
Yes. Every text element supports Custom Material — select any shader from your scene (gold, glass, neon, procedural).
Will it break when Blender updates?
Built for Blender 5.0+ using the current API including the layered Action system. No deprecated calls.
Does it work with EEVEE and Cycles?
Yes. All materials are node-based and render correctly in both engines.
