  This is an extremely powerful add-on. Unlike other importers, it imports models remarkably quickly. Even models containing around 1 million triangles are imported rapidly and reliably.

  I encountered an issue where the normals on one side of symmetrical objects were flipped when imported into Blender. I contacted the developer, and I was incredibly grateful for how quickly they listened to my feedback and fixed the problem.

  There were also some non-critical issues, such as Shade Smooth not being applied properly and unintended faces appearing inside edge loops. I hadn’t even reported these issues, but the developer fixed all of them as well.

  This add-on provides more value than its price.

  I work with a lot of creatives who use SketchUp as their DCC, which means I get stuck trying to work with their files or share my blender files with them. This addon takes away any hoops I had to jump thru to import/export SKP files in the easiest way possible. I highly recommend this addon for ease of use and quality of imported/exported files! The best out there.

  There was once a dream that was "Export.skp" - and this dream came true. It's working so well, geometry are perfectly converted. Incredible work. For those who are coming from sketchup and who need to measure on modify with a CAD sotfware that's really really convenient. Bravo and long live to "Export.skp"

  Finally someone who knows the drill. Finally someone took this task seriously. This thing bridges SketchUp and Blender, tackling mesh like no one has done before. Sure, there's still a free SketchUp importer on GitHub, and it does good job with model hierarchy, but it's only importer, and it triangulates all meshes. This one doesn't. I mean, it splits holed n-gons, but there's no other possible way in Blender. It's just the limitation of Blender. I believe this addon has a bright future, already offering advanced features and high level of customization.
