My FPS is really low, what can I do?

If the frames per second are low on the video link between your phone and Blender Scene, you can try these things:

- Ensure the FPS settings in the Add-on User Interface are set to 30fps (Phone View > Frame Rate)

- Check your internet connection is working

- Re-connect using a new QR connection (Add-on UI > Quick Start & Help > Support and Diagnosis > Make New Pairing Code > then simply reconnect the phone again using the newly generated QR code)

- Turn down the Quality Setting of the Video Stream (Phone View > Quality > Try 20-30)

- Reduce Video Stream Resolution (Phone View > Size > Low, Medium)

Do I need to install an app on my phone?
There's nothing to download from the App Store. PocketCam's phone app is a web app hosted on your own Cloudflare account. Open it in Safari, add it to your Home Screen, and it opens full-screen like an app
Which phones work?
PocketCam is tested with iPhone and Safari. Your iPhone needs a working camera and motion sensors, with camera and motion access allowed. Android phones, other browsers and tablets haven't been tested for this release, so they aren't supported yet. But let me know if you find any bugs
Do I need Terminal or coding?
No. Installing, setting up and updating all happen in Blender. You do create one Cloudflare API token in your browser, following the steps Blender shows you.
Can I use it for commercial work?
Yes. There's no subscription and no income cap. Cloudflare's own terms, and any Cloudflare charges, apply to your Cloudflare account.
Is there a Lite or Studio version?
Yes. PocketCam Personal is the full version. A lighter Lite edition and a Studio option for teams (ten Personal copies) are also available.
Which versions of Blender are supported?
Blender 4.2 or newer. It has been tested on the creator's Mac; Windows and Linux haven't been independently tested yet.
