Project Tabs - Multiple Projects in a Single Blender Instance

3D Hermes Studio in Interface

I know how it feels...

Working with different blender files, going back and forth within projects and transferring assets between your Blender files.

You think: "I wish there was an easier and faster way to work with multiple files at the same time".

And if we are being honest...  You are RIGHT.

There should be a better way to work with multiple projects.

And it's called  Project Tabs

But let me tell you how it does it...

You see I've been working on ways to maximize the Blender workflow

since the day I started using it. And this is one of those features that completely change the experience.

Make a new tab by creating a New project or selecting one to open from your recent projects list.
And that's it.

This is not a janky solution...

It's a well thought out and elegantly crafted architecture that manages Blender instances on an operative system level.

For that reason Each Project remains Individual.

.

Just like you'd expect it.

Individual projects retain 100% of their autonomy for Undo history and other per project settings.

"Everything stays but still changes"

- Marceline

In other words: Project autonomy doesn't mean you can't share.

In fact you can share everything from one project to another.

See how I share a building from one file to another and completely change the render in seconds.

If you have ever thought... "I wish I could transfer my objects from one blender file to another with ease"
This add-on is for you.

But you can also share materials, textures, individual nodes...

Example transferring material data

Example transferring shader nodes.

I can't explain in words how much time this is going to save you.
But I can promise that when you experience it hands-on you won't be able to go back.
