    So far I'm very happy with RIG2U5. I rigged a simple character model, exported it to UE5, retargeted some animations for it, and everything went fine. I definitely look forward to animating faces with this and seeing it work in UE5.

    To Mitchel: You want to use Add->Armature->U5 Game Rigs->Rigify U5 Metarig (Editable Bones). It's the second one that allows you to generate a rig.

    Add on doesnt work. The only thing you can do is add an armature, there is no Generate rig button, nor any other functionallity shown in the video, i've tried multiple blender versions but none of them work.

    I think RIG2U5 is essential to take full advantage of UE5's versatility, especially regard to facial animation.
    Whether you are creating a compatible UE5 character to sell, for your game or a personal "short movie" as in my case.
    You can use your character with an iPhone (or other compatible smartphone) and Live Link.
    The interface is simple and intuitive, but video tutorials are already available on Youtube.
    The addon works in conjunction with rigify, which needs to be enabled.
