Rolling Rolling - Blender Geomerty Node Gadget
The Core Object Does Not Roll Properly
If the core object does not roll as expected, check the following:
- Make sure the Origin of the core object is located near the center of its geometry.
- Check that the Scale and Rotation of the core object have been applied.
- Make sure the timeline is playing.
- Check that the Geometry Nodes simulation is working correctly.
- If you changed any simulation-related values, replay the timeline from the beginning.
Pickup Objects Do Not Attach Properly
If the objects in the Pickup Collection do not attach correctly, check the following:
- Make sure the Origins of the pickup objects are not too far from the bottom of each object.
- Check that the transform values of the pickup objects have been applied.
- Make sure the pickup objects are not placed too densely.
- Check that the objects are correctly placed inside the assigned Pickup Collection.
- Make sure the correct collection is assigned to the Pickup Collection parameter.
The Scene Is Too Slow
If the scene becomes too slow or heavy, check the following:
- Make sure the pickup objects do not have too many polygons.
- Use simpler mesh objects for better performance.
- Reduce the number of pickup objects if needed.
- Lower the Max Pickups value.
- Reduce heavy viewport display settings while testing.
- Bake the simulation before rendering or previewing a complex scene.
