Why are previews slow?
Preview speed depends on resolution, sample quality, backend, scene lighting sync, number of visible cards, and shader complexity. Use lower quality presets, reduce synced lights, limit previews to selected objects or materials, or lower the max visible card count.
Why is a preview unavailable for a node?
Some nodes do not expose a previewable output in the selected lane, or the current group path cannot be resolved from the material root. Try selecting a different output lane, returning to the root material, or using the Preview Node.
Why do I see "Open a Shader node tree to begin"?
Shader Nodes Doctor needs an active Shader Editor with a shader node tree. Select an object with a material and open its material node tree in the Shader Editor.
