Is Shot Director only a lighting add-on?
No. In addition to material-aware lighting, it combines product analysis, studio scene generation, camera setup, shot variations, and animation tools in one Blender add-on.
Can I animate products and cameras?
Yes. Shot Director includes 25 object animation presets and 41 camera animation presets. Animations are created using Blender keyframes.
Do I need my own 3D product model?
Yes. Shot Director creates the presentation setup around an existing 3D model. It does not generate product geometry.
Shot Director automates which parts of product presentation in Blender?
Shot Director analyzes your selected 3D product and generates studio scene elements, lighting, and cameras. It also provides shot variations and object or camera animation presets. You provide your own product model.
