Which Blender versions are supported?

Blender 4.2 and newer. It is tested on Blender 4.2, 4.5 and 5.2 LTS.

Can I animate the balloons?

Yes. Turn on Animate in Flight & Animation: the balloon bobs gently and drifts and the burner flames pulse, all driven by the timeline. Every part is an ordinary object under one Motion empty, so you can also keyframe the balloon yourself.

Can I put my own logo on the envelope?

Yes. Choose the Sponsor Banner pattern and load an image in Pattern & Colors. It is printed on banner panels on both sides of the balloon.

Does it make blimps or zeppelins?

No, Skylift is only hot air and gas balloons. Airships (blimps, zeppelins, hybrids and aerostats) are in a separate airship addon, and both can be installed together.

Can I use the balloons in a game engine?

Yes. Materials use Principled BSDF with image textures and the pattern is a single texture per balloon. Make Static turns the balloon into plain mesh objects ready to export as FBX or glTF, and Low detail gives lighter meshes.
