Smart Output Presets

Save your Blender Output setup once, then bring it back whenever you need it.

Installation

  1. Open Blender.
  2. Go to Edit → Preferences.
  3. Open the Add-ons section.
  4. Install the Smart Output Presets ZIP file.
  5. Enable the addon.

Once it is enabled, you will find Smart Output Presets in Output Properties.

Where To Find It

Properties → Output Properties → Output

Create a Preset

  1. Set your Output Properties the way you want them.
  2. Open the Smart Output Presets panel.
  3. Give the preset a name.
  4. Save it.

Your current Output setup is saved with the preset.

Apply a Preset

  1. Open the Smart Output Presets panel.
  2. Pick the preset you want to use.
  3. Click Apply.

The saved Output settings are applied to the current scene.

Manage Your Presets

Update

Change your Output settings and use Update to save the changes to that preset.

Rename

Select a preset, choose Rename, type the new name, and confirm.

Duplicate

Make a copy of an existing preset and use it as a new configuration.

Custom Icon

Pick a Blender icon to make the preset easier to recognize.

Delete

Select a preset, choose Delete, and confirm.

Preset Library

Use the preset list to pick the configuration you want to work with.

Import & Export

Export Presets

  1. Open the Smart Output Presets panel.
  2. Choose Export.
  3. Choose where you want to save the JSON file.
  4. Save the JSON file.

Import Presets

  1. Open the Smart Output Presets panel.
  2. Choose Import.
  3. Choose the preset JSON file.
  4. Choose what to do if a preset with the same name already exists.

Apply the saved settings.
