Snapline - Rulers & Guides For Blender
What about diagonal guides / triangle compositions?
Current version handles X (vertical) and Y (horizontal) guides. Diagonals are on the roadmap for a future free update.
Does it work with Geometry Nodes / Grease Pencil / 2D animation?
Yes — the rulers are pure overlay, they don't interact with any specific data type. Use them to compose any kind of scene.
Can I use it with multiple cameras?
Yes. Snapline anchors to whichever camera is currently active in the scene. Switch cameras and the guides re-anchor to the new frame.
Will it affect my renders?
No. The overlay draws to the viewport only. Your Cycles, EEVEE, and Workbench renders are untouched.
Will this slow down my viewport?
No. Snapline draws only when toggled on, and uses Blender's native GPU shader batches. Negligible overhead even on integrated graphics.
