Fix where hair in Eevee appears as pink.
- New tool for a mesh to hair card workflow
- New tool that sets up a braid mesh from a curve. Users can use this before the mesh to hair card tool to create hair card braids.
- Each hair & fur system now allows you to set a custom UV name so you don't have to rename the map itself
- Added a slight automation value that tweaks curl radius for shorter hairs in your system (preventing glitchy curls)
- Removed some bugs from a few curly hair systems resulting in glitchy hair strands going straight down
- Fixed a bug where the fur systems would sometimes result in wild hair strands
- Added a cycles/eevee switch in the hair card system to prevent pink textures in Eevee.
Added the option to set system scale with a reference object. This can simply be a cube that you size to roughly match your scalp. This is especially handy if your hair is emitted on for example the head of a human body 3d model, which would set the scale to match the body size instead of head only.
Forwarded another fix for the system scaling. It is now based on the hair length in a normalized way, which should be the most stable approach.
Added 4 new options mean to fixed system scale issues.
- System Scale by Scalp Reference Weight Group: Allows you to use a weight group to define what part of your mesh is the scalp, which will define the scale
- System Scale by Reference Object: Allows you to add e.g. a cube the size of your required head and use that as a reference for the scaling
This make sure that the hair system scale can be consistent throughout all possible scales in Blender
