  The plugin is great! No need any autodesk applications anymore. It takes a few minutes to convert to blender but it’s ok. It’s the time I get a coffee :)

  I understand the usage scenarios you mentioned. The tool has been stated in the current instructions that it needs to be connected to the internet, and the plugin supports over 30 format conversions. As the number continues to increase, the updated format list needs to be connected to the internet.

  Not really an addon as you'd expect in the traditional sense where once installed you can work offline....'needs internet connection'

  The advertisement is slightly misleading because it states that "Import and export 20+ 3D formats directly in Blender", however, it is technically only importing an *.obj file sent from a remote server. The user's 'import' really starts with an underlying 'export' of their file to an online server for conversion. That is not 'directly'. Reading the small print, "The add-on uploads the file to the Super3D conversion service."

  "Online file format convertor" should be in a large bold font at the top of the advertisement where buyers can better gauge the suitability of the product more easily before purchase.
