Will every photograph produce a perfect SVG?
No. SVG-Forge is primarily designed for logos, symbols, illustrations, silhouettes and graphics with clearly defined shapes. Highly detailed photographs may require additional cleanup.
Does it support color images?
Yes. SVG-Forge includes B&W, Target Color and Color tracing modes.
Can I create a 3D mesh?
Yes. Use Bake Clean Mesh from Curves after you are satisfied with the vector result.
Can SVG-Forge export SVG files?
Yes. You can export the traced vector as an SVG file.
Can I change the depth after tracing?
Yes. Geometry parameters such as Scale, Depth, Bevel and Curve Resolution can be adjusted on the curve without retracing the source image.
Can I edit the generated vector?
Yes. SVG-Forge creates editable curves before the final mesh stage.
Which image formats are supported?
PNG, JPG/JPEG, WEBP, BMP and TGA.
Does SVG-Forge use an external conversion website or API?
No.
Does SVG-Forge require an internet connection?
No. SVG-Forge performs its tracing workflow locally.
