Which Blender versions?
4.2 LTS and newer; tested on 4.2.23, 4.5.14 and 5.2.1 with identical mesh results.
Can I draw the stair along my own curve or mesh?
No. It has four fixed plans (straight, L, U, spiral). If you need arbitrary routes, use a curve-guided stair tool.
Does it work in EEVEE?
Standard shader nodes only, but I have only checked Cycles. Treat EEVEE as untested.
Can I use my own materials?
Yes: replace the four material inputs, and read tb_wear, tb_edge, tb_axis in your shader if you like.
Is it game-ready?
No. Apply (Realize on) and decimate for real-time.
Does it follow building codes?
No. It helps you hit common proportions (2R+G, 12 cm gap); check your local rules.
Can I sell renders / use it commercially?
Yes, in any number of projects. You may not resell or redistribute the asset itself. One license = one person.
