Tidebone Roof & PV – Procedural Roof Generator With Solar Layout
4.2 LTS and newer; tested on 4.2.23, 4.5.14 and 5.2.1 with identical results.
No. Pure Geometry Nodes, procedural shaders, no image textures.
A rectangle as mesh or curve (its bounding box is used) or just numbers. L-shapes via the wing option (gable roofs).
Yes: whole modules only, the count is a group output and an attribute. In the test suite the count is checked against the geometry (glass faces) and, for plain gable roofs, against a closed-form rows × columns formula.
Yes: width, height, gap, margin, frame and a landscape toggle are inputs.
Yes, all nine are material inputs. Tiles carry UVMap and a per-tile random value; PV glass uses the CellUV map.
The generator is for rendering and real-time viewports (instances). For games bake or apply the result; Low and Proxy detail give light meshes. Medium/High beaver-tail on a big roof is heavy (see the polycount table in the README).
