Tile Animator
Does it change my original mesh?
No. It reads the mesh and builds the tiles as a separate result. Show the model hides or shows the original.
How heavy a mesh can it take?
On the Nodes engine every tile is built; the demo builds 48,755 tiles from a tree fern. The Objects engine and the bakes stop at the Tile Limit and build an evenly spread sample above it. Read it off the mesh sets the limit to the full count.
Nodes or Objects?
Nodes for building and tuning: one object, nothing keyed, light in the viewport. Objects when you want real keyframes on every tile. For a game engine, bake to bones either way.
Can I use the animation in Unreal Engine, Unity or Godot?
Bake to Bones gives one skinned mesh with its animation, which FBX and glTF carry. The demo video exports FBX into Unreal Engine; other engines haven't been tested.
Why doesn't the result follow my edits to the model?
The add-on reads the mesh when it builds. Press Rebuild from the model after editing it.
Why does the main button say Turn Live off to keep it?
While Live is on, the result keeps rebuilding. Turning Live off keeps what's on screen as the result.
Does it need an internet connection or other add-ons?
No.
Can I take a build or a removal back?
Yes. Undo takes a build back and brings removed results back.
