Triaxis Modeler
How can I use reference images with TriAxis Modeler?
Add reference images to Blender's background (Add → Image → Reference) and position them behind your projection planes. This makes tracing silhouettes much easier.
Does this work with imported SVG or image files?
Not directly, but you can import SVG files into Blender and trace them on your projection planes, or use reference images as background guides for manual tracing.
My addon panel isn't showing up. What's wrong?
Make sure you've enabled the addon in Preferences → Add-ons. The panel appears in the 3D Viewport sidebar (press N to toggle). Look for the "TriAxis Modeler" tab on the right side.
What version of Blender do I need?
TriAxis Modeler requires Blender 4.5.0 or newer. It uses modern boolean operations and UI features not available in older versions.
How do I get cleaner geometry?
Use the "Clear Edges" tool to remove unnecessary edge loops, adjust the Voxel Size for smoother surfaces, also by making sure to be aware of how the topology of each plane corresponds to each other before generation.
The boolean operations are failing. What should I do?
TriAxis Modeler automatically tries both EXACT and FAST boolean solvers. If both fail, try: 1) Simplifying your silhouettes, 2) Reducing overlapping geometry, 3) Increasing the Extrusion Depth, or 4) Using smaller Voxel Size values.
Why is my generated mesh empty or missing?
This usually happens when your silhouettes don't overlap at the center. Make sure your Front, Side, and Top view shapes intersect in 3D space. Try making your shapes larger or adjusting the Extrusion Depth setting.
