  Hi Timo,

  Sorry to hear this. The documentation are linked on the product page, and in a readme file in the downloads. The docs also make it clear that when installing content packs, Blender may crash as it tries to automatically reload the extensions. This is not something we can stop Blender doing unfortunately.

  I bought most of the True-VFX add-ons and am delighted with my purchases as I spent more time with them today. Very reasonably priced I think. I did annoy the developers with some questions and they were kind enough to get back to me. Even I don't answer emails and messages until late at night so I think its reasonable if they don't get back to me until then next day.

  great addon but need a fix of so many crashes Blender when used blending modifiers and on/off visibility sometimes not working.
  group settings like opacity and blending should be sync with all layers in group.

  Awesome addon. My favorite terrain generation, texturing and now scattering tool. Fast response from the devs via discord, good documentation, plus lots of how to videos online make it easy to learn. Just playing with it is a joy and will keep you fascinated for hours. This isn't a toy though, the terrains look fantastic. It's definitely worth the cost.

  This is next level! Whoa!
  For an EARLY ACCESS version, this is very, very usable and offers so much that I wonder what else those guys could surprise us with. Support on the Discord Server is almost immediate and even Noob-friendly. 100% recommended Must-Have if you want to create, texture and enhance your landscaping. I have to stop writing this review now because it hinders me from playing with my favourite Blender Add-on for landscape generation and texturing.

  disappointed they don't offer the users that have purchased 5 access to 4. 5 comes with no assets. No trees, rocks, water. Makes it unproductive for any application other than landscapes with limited use. I'm new to blender.

  For hobbyists and professionals alike, True terrain is a fantastic tool for creating awe-inspiring landscapes and environments. The ease of use of the tool is incredible, and the quick response of the creators via their discord have been a game changer for me. Frankly, it's just a lot of fun to tinker around and make environments from scratch now, where as it used to be a bit of chore.

  One of Blender's best terrain creation toolboxes remade and improved in every way. You have full control over both shader *and* terrain layering and mixing which gives an absurd level of control and customisation over your terrain; the new masking and layering tools allow you to do things that were just simply not possible in True Terrain 4.

  I feel like it will be a while before I can even scratch the surface of what this is capable of. This is basically Photoshop but for terrain generation, so the only limiting factor will be your imagination and RAM. On that note: Performance is considerably better than TT4 with updates to the terrain mesh and shader happening quicker and performance staying strong as your terrain gets increasingly complex.

  The erosion system is some very impressive stuff and comes with its own host of controls you can tweak and masks you can apply to your terrain so I'm looking forward to seeing what the devs do with that as development advances as well as with scattering when that is added later on.

  If you work with any sort of terrain in Blender then this should be on your radar.

  Great product. Does what it needs to do.
  If you are on a Mac with an M processor, set your device to CPU instead of GPU or it will get really slow when you switch to rendered view or material preview.

  Also, not sure if this is possible, but can we export out the mask textures? I'd like to use the slope/height/valley etc masks for other things.

  This only gets a 4 because the developer is non-responsive.

  We've had an update on the issues faced with Mac with apple silicon. There was an issue on Apple's side regarding how they handle math in shaders that result in 0. Keep an eye on this issue for more info: https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/126799#issuecomment-1282506
