Yes, according to the API plan you hold on aperiodicgenerator.com (Solo vs Commercial). You may not resell or redistribute this add-on ZIP. See the website terms for full detail.
Where do imported tiles go?
Into a new collection named Monotile plus the first characters of the job id. Each tile is typically its own mesh object so you can assign materials or edit individually.
Blender freezes when I click Generate. Is that normal?
Depends. The add-on waits for the API job, downloads the file, and imports the GLB in one step. Large patches take longer. Increase Max Wait, use a smaller boundary for tests, or work on a copy of your scene so you do not block your main file.
Can I fill any selected mesh shape?
Partially. Use Selected Bounds sizes a rectangle from the selected object’s world bounding box. That works well for flat plates and reference boxes. Arbitrary curved silhouettes (true mesh-boundary masks) are not supported in this version.
Which render engines are supported?
Cycles and Eevee out of the box (glTF import → Principled BSDF). Freestyle works as a line pass on top of a normal render. Arnold, Octane, V-Ray, and other third-party Blender render add-ons are not included—you would convert materials yourself.
Do I need a paid API key?
For real Blender work, yes. The add-on imports GLB. Free API keys only support small PNG/JPG previews. Get a Solo (or Commercial) key at https://aperiodicgenerator.com/docs.html#access.
Which Blender version do I need?
Blender 4.0 or newer. Install the add-on from aperiodic_monotile_generator_blender.zip inside the kit (not the outer kit zip).
Does this work offline?
No. The add-on submits jobs to the live API and downloads the finished GLB. You need an internet connection whenever you generate a new patch.
What exactly am I buying?
You are buying the Blender add-on, sample files, and START_HERE guide. Geometry is generated on our hosted API at aperiodicgenerator.com. You need your own API key; production GLB export requires a Solo or Commercial plan on the website. The Blender Market price does not include unlimited API usage.
