  I might be playing the killjoy here, but this tool is the same one available in the Damtools plugin by the same author.

  In terms of quality, it’s still one of the best I’ve seen. So I recommend it, but only if you’re looking for a plugin to “clean up” your meshes. If you want this feature and more, go for the Damtools plugin instead, it’s truly excellent.

  Yeah, I'm taking parts of damTools and making them "standalone" addons because many people don't want to buy the "full suite", so maybe someone can use some discrete tools :D
