BlendBuddy 1.6.1 – more playtime (free update)

IMPROVED

• Pets play together much more often, and there are new games: the same trick at the same time, follow-the-leader and little dance parties (with 2+ friends).

• Pets no longer walk through each other, also on the Bottom Edge: they leapfrog over each other, or bump, say "Oops!" and hop back.

• Pets on their way to a friend hop over anyone in the way. Tag ends when the runner reaches the edge of the viewport.

BlendBuddy 1.6.0 – "Playtime" update (free for Standard and Halloween Edition)

NEW

• Whole-viewport roaming: your pet now walks and hops all over the viewport instead of only along the bottom edge. Choose Behavior > Roam Area > Bottom Edge for the old behavior.

• Friends: add up to 3 extra buddies (BlendBuddy > Friends). Pick each character or keep them on Random. With Play Together on, they say hi, play tag, hop together and nap together with your pet. Click a friend to pet it, drag it anywhere.

• Background music: the soft 8-bit song from the promo video as an optional loop with its own volume (Desktop & Sounds > Music, off by default).

• Many new sounds: every trick has its own sound, plus sounds for hovering, picking up, dropping, jumping, landing, falling asleep and waking up. Optional footsteps.

IMPROVED

• Bigger default pet size for new installs (Large).

• Speech bubbles never go above the top of the viewport.

• The pet remembers both its horizontal and vertical spot after you drop it.

NOTES

• Existing settings are kept. If you liked the pet on the bottom edge, set Behavior > Roam Area to Bottom Edge.

• Install the new zip the same way as before (Preferences > Get Extensions > Install from Disk); it replaces the old version.
