14. How do I upgrade from BookForge?
Install the new extension ZIP. It retains the same extension ID. Existing groups can be loaded and updated; back up projects first.
13. Does it work on Windows?
The extension is intended for Blender 5.2 LTS, including Windows workflows, but physical Windows testing has not been completed.
12. Are marketing covers exact asset previews?
The bookshelf hero is AI-generated promotional artwork. The included asset catalog and Blender renders show the supplied assets.
11. Can I export the books?
Yes, through Blender exporters. Bake material effects separately when your target application needs textures.
10. Does it require internet?
Bundled assets work offline. Custom source images must remain available for regeneration.
9. Does updating preserve manual mesh changes?
Updating rebuilds generated children. Duplicate the group before manual editing.
8. Are all paper sheets modeled?
No. Page blocks use fine edge shading; selected raised leaves are modeled.
7. Are open books animated?
No. Open books are static posed meshes with original English interior artwork.
6. What if the path is too short?
BookForm keeps the books that fit. Extend the path and update to increase the placed count.
5. Can books follow a drawn path?
Yes. Draw a horizontal path or use a single-spline horizontal Poly or Bezier curve, then generate upright or flat books.
4. Can I choose several color families?
Yes. Multi-select color swatches filter random built-in editions together with the selected style collection.
3. Will my cover be stretched?
No. The front image determines the book aspect ratio.
2. Can I use my own covers?
Yes. Load an image or a folder, with optional separate back and spine artwork.

This build targets Blender 5.2 LTS. Earlier versions are not advertised as compatible.
