Clayo v1.0.0 officially supports Blender 5.0 and newer and has been tested up to Blender 5.2.
2.Can I use Clayo with Blender 4.3 or 4.4?
Clayo v1.0.0 officially supports Blender 5.0 and newer and has been tested up to Blender 5.2. If you need Blender 4.3 or 4.4 support, you can contact me. Backward compatibility may be added on request, but development and testing can take some time.
3.What does Clayo actually do?
Clayo adds a customizable brush wheel to Blender Sculpt Mode, letting you keep frequently used brushes close to your cursor, organize brushes into separate sets, and switch tools without constantly navigating Blender’s interface.
4. Does Clayo include its own sculpting brushes?
Clayo is primarily a brush access and organization tool. It works with brushes available in your Blender setup, including Blender brushes and compatible brushes from your current file or user library.
5.How do I open Clayo while sculpting?
In Sculpt Mode, press C to open the Clayo wheel. Select a brush by hovering and releasing the shortcut, or click the brush directly.
6.Can I assign my own brushes to the wheel?
Yes. Activate the brush you want in Blender, then hold Ctrl and click an assignable slot to add that brush to your wheel.
7.Does Clayo work well with pen tablets and pen displays?
Yes. Clayo is designed to reduce unnecessary cursor movement, making it especially useful for artists sculpting with a pen tablet or pen display.
8.What are folder slots?
Folder slots let you keep additional related brushes behind a single wheel position. A folder can contain three extra brushes, helping you access more tools without overcrowding the main wheel.
9.Are my Clayo settings saved?
Yes. Clayo is designed to preserve your brush sets, wheel configuration, and appearance settings between Blender sessions.
