Collision Director Pro

Steven Seidler (Blendscapes3D) in Modeling

Stop modelling collision meshes by hand.

Every game artist hits the same wall. Your prop looks great, but now you need a collider, and Unreal will not import it unless the mesh is named UCX with the right suffix. So you duplicate, decimate, rename, count the index, and do it again for the next forty props.

Collision Director Pro does it in one click. Select your mesh. Pick a shape. Done. The collider is built from your object real bounds and named exactly the way your engine expects.

Five collider types

Box
Sphere
Capsule
Convex Hull
Simplified

Pick the cheapest shape that fits. Box and sphere for simple props, capsule for characters and posts, convex hull for a tight fit, and a simplified decimated copy when you need the real shape.

Engine correct naming

Unreal reads UBX, USP, UCP and UCX prefixes. Unity gets a clean Collider suffix. Godot gets the col and convcol tag. Generic gets a readable COL suffix. Every collider imports as collision with zero manual renaming.

Batch the whole set

Select a hundred objects and generate a collider for each in one click, with correct Unreal indexing.

Totally non destructive

Colliders are separate objects built from your evaluated mesh, so modifiers are respected and your original is never touched.

Organised automatically

Colliders go into a Colliders collection, show as wireframe so they do not hide your model, are hidden from render, and are parented to the source object so they move with it.

Easy cleanup

Clear the colliders under your selection, or wipe every collider in the scene, with one button.

Requires Blender 4.2 or later. Tested through 5.1. Pure Python, works on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Works beautifully next to Export Director Pro and LOD Director Pro as a complete game asset pipeline.
