Easy Floor Generator
How do I convert the floor to a mesh with UVs?
For procedural planks, enable Pack UVs to automatically unwrap and pack their UV islands, then use Blender’s right-click → Convert → Mesh command. Collection models retain their original UV maps. Duplicate the generator first if you want to keep an editable procedural version.
Can I create damaged or warped parquet?
Yes. Combine tilt, position and height variations, missing planks and warp. Warp Amount controls the deformation, while Affected Planks determines how many procedural boards receive it.
Are the wood materials fully procedural?
Yes. Natural Oak, Satin Walnut, Pine, Antique Oak and Worn Parquet are included, with no image textures required. Their colors, grain, roughness and normal intensity can be adjusted.
Can I use my own plank models?
Yes. Collection mode preserves your models’ proportions, materials and original UV maps, including trim-sheet layouts. Collection Scale resizes them uniformly. Chevron, procedural bevel and warp are available only in procedural mode.
Can I fit the floor to a custom surface?
Yes. Assign your mesh as the Surface Object and enable Cut to Surface. You can use a plane or the upward-facing surface of a cube.
Which laying patterns are included?
Aligned, 1/2 Offset, 1/3 Offset, 2/3 Offset, Random Stagger, Herringbone, Chevron, Double Herringbone and Basket Weave.
Is this a Blender add-on?
No. Easy Floor Generator is a Geometry Nodes setup supplied as a .blend file. No add-on installation or Python scripts are required.
