Part of that friction is not you adapting — it is still the product.
There are places where the behaviour feels unnatural to me too, and
those are exactly what I am working through right now.

After years of navigating the viewport the same way, changing those habits isn’t easy, but this add-on made the transition feel surprisingly natural. There’s still a little awkwardness at first, and it can feel like an extra effort if you only use it occasionally. With regular use, though, it becomes increasingly comfortable.
I especially like being able to manage it alongside Flow Selection Pro through the integrated setup. As someone who uses both, that’s a big plus.
The quick responses and ongoing improvements have also given me a lot of confidence in the developer. Honestly, I could see myself buying every add-on they make! Looking forward to seeing what comes next. Keep up the great work!

Made blender way more approachable than maya. Thumbs up 👍

That's exactly the goal — thanks, Sanny. Navigation is just the first piece: it's one component of CG Flow, a larger system we're building around the same idea of making Blender feel effortless. Flow Selection is already out as the second one, and more is coming.
It completely changed the way I use Blender, whether for modeling or sculpting. I can't imagine working without it anymore.

Thank you so much, Hélder. It means a lot to hear that Flow Navigation has changed the way you work in Blender.
Navigation is only one part of a larger direction I’m building toward. Adjusting the viewport is something we do constantly — during selection, transforms, and editing — so my goal is to make it feel like one coherent way of working in Blender, rather than an isolated navigation tool. This is only the beginning.
The spacebar + left mouse navigation is ergonomically vastly superior to the shift + middle mouse paradigm we are grown into. Also the auto focus on your mouse position when zooming and orbiting makes navigation incredibly intuitive. Currently, I am struggling with my own inability to unlearn years of muscle memory in viewport navigation, but that is a skill issue :D
The developer is amazing with quick responses and lighting-fast fixes and development and a superb discord feedback server. A very bright future is ahead of this addon.

The unlearning is real — years of shift+MMB don't let go quietly. But the fact that you're fighting it instead of going back tells me everything. You're being modest about the Discord part: it works because of people like you — two of your reports went from post to fixed in one day. Thanks, Nerthazul.
Really good. 1. It's configurable 2. the automatic panning that centers where you zoom in is genius; basically handles 2 DoF for you for free (you can test the zoom in the lite version to kinda see what I mean). These two things allow me to get essentially 6 DoF with just my tablet pen.
My settings:
When I hold pen button #1 and move <-> it orbits horizontally and ↕ zooms (with auto panning).
If I also press on my tablet, then <-> rolls the camera and ↕ orbits vertically.
Plus if I tap on my tablet it snaps to nearest ortho view.
This feels intuitive to me and makes it very easy to toggle ortho views & roll the camera which I like to do a lot when sculpting.
Currently working on a gnarly nested pie menu for my 2nd pen button with all the shortcuts I need. That way I truly don't need a keyboard and have a hand free to hold my tablet while I walk around! So this add-on saved me money on a spacemouse and will help me spend less time sitting in a chair all day :)

Thank you — reading how you've wired this up genuinely made my day. Turning one pen into 6 DoF (orbit + zoom on button #1, roll + vertical orbit on tablet press, ortho snap on tap) is exactly the freedom I'm chasing: the auto-panning quietly covers the degrees of freedom you'd otherwise buy a SpaceMouse for — and it's only the first of several things Flow will automate for you. There's a lot more coming that I think will genuinely change how navigation feels, especially on a tablet.
Tablet-first, keyboard-free navigation isn't a side effect for me — it's the design goal. So a setup as thought-through as yours is precisely who I build for.
One thing for your pen-only workflow: Flow Selection ships in a few days. It folds every selection tool into a single LMB — on a tablet that means you reach all of them by touch alone, no tool-shelf switching, no modifier keys. It surprised even me how much it strips out of the flow. Enjoy the pie-menu build. 🙂
Brillant j'ai testé Lite et 2 minutes après je suis passée sur Pro sans hesitation, un bijoux!

Two minutes on Lite, then Pro — that jump makes sense. Lite fixes what stock Blender navigation gets wrong. Pro is a different category — closer to what people describe when they first try a SpaceMouse, but without the hardware. Glad you felt the difference that fast.
Five stars guaranteed. This product not only is an amazing way to smooth out the work if you are using a tablet, but the creator on the official discord is a sweetheart willing to look at every problem you might have helping you solve it. At the moment I'm waiting for the update to the pro version so I'll have the issue I've asked him fixed (I use a microsoft studio laptop to work and there is an issue with the key bindings). 10/10 this addon is underpriced in my opinion for how much it gives you.

Thank you so much for the kind words and support.
Your case with the Surface Laptop Studio and Slim Pen is very valuable, because it gives me a real opportunity to improve Flow Navigation support for touchscreen and stylus-based devices.
I’ll keep working on this and make the experience smoother in the upcoming updates. Thank you again for helping make the addon better.
Just amazing !!! Thank you!

Panagiotis, glad it landed that way. More is coming.
Game changer! Finally an addon tha takes care of this in such a smooth way! Quick to learn and it immediately feels like you're not going to go without it. Awesome stuff! Looking forward for the new features on the roadmap and also am so curious about the upcoming Selection tool. Hopefully it'll bring something different than the already amazing Selection Pro addon which I have as well.

Marco, different is the right word. Select Pro gives you more ways to choose — Flow Selection removes the need to choose at all. One button, no tool switching, the addon reads where your cursor is and what you do with it. Beta is running now — more soon.
Would be cool if you could attach a camera to these movments. To be able to save camera motions and to be able to position and crop the camera in a fluid way.

Bolo, you're describing something I've thought about — using the navigation layer as a camera recording system. It's not in the current roadmap, but it's the kind of idea that deserves a real discussion, not a buried comment. Drop it in #feature-requests on Discord. If it gets traction, it moves up the board.
