How can I report bugs or suggest new features?
We'd love to hear from you! Please contact us at [email protected] with detailed information about the issue or your suggestion.
Why do some objects not change when I use the toggles?
Geo-C-Thru operates on mesh objects. If an object is not a mesh (e.g., light, camera, curve), the add-on won't affect it. Additionally, if an object's display properties were manually altered or affected by other add-ons, this might interfere with Geo-C-Thru's functionality.
How do I restore the original appearance of my objects?
Click on the Reset All button in the Other Settings section. This will revert all changes made by Geo-C-Thru and restore objects to their original states.
Does Geo-C-Thru work with linked or appended objects from other files?
Geo-C-Thru should work with appended objects, but linked objects (which are read-only) might not respond to changes since their data is managed externally. Be cautious when working with linked data.
Can I use Geo-C-Thru alongside other add-ons?
Yes, Geo-C-Thru is designed to be compatible with other add-ons. However, if another add-on modifies object display properties, it may interfere with Geo-C-Thru's functionality. If you encounter issues, try disabling other add-ons to identify conflicts.
Does Geo-C-Thru affect the final render?
No, Geo-C-Thru only modifies viewport display settings. The changes made by the add-on will not affect your final render unless you have specific render settings that depend on viewport display properties.
Can I customize the default settings of Geo-C-Thru?
Currently, Geo-C-Thru uses preset defaults upon installation. You can adjust settings during your session, but changes are not saved across sessions. We're considering adding this feature in future updates.
Is there a way to toggle settings for specific collections or groups of objects?
Geo-C-Thru operates based on object selection status (selected or non-selected). To affect specific groups, you can select the desired objects and use the toggles accordingly.
The 'In Front' toggle isn't working for certain objects. What could be the issue?
The 'In Front' setting applies to mesh objects. Ensure that the objects you're trying to affect are meshes. If problems persist, use the Reset All button and try again.
