  i hadn't used this for a few months. but the baking is broken. the text just disappears now. may need an update

  I use this addon to insert 3D text into my VR360 3D videos. The animations look cool in 3D and make it a bit more interesting and immersive for viewers using VR headsets. A lot quicker and easier than key framing each character by hand so thanks for this awesome product. The only negative is with the latest version the wiggle preset is a bit more frantic for some reason and I can’t slow it down to the the same speed as my older version which was able to wiggle at a more gentle floaty pace which looks better in a VR headset. I’m sure I’ll work something out.

  Occasionally disables itself (somehow). Has problems installing since there seems a typo somewhere that looks for "textEffect" folder instead of the "TextEffect" folder. Hangs when baking text. Even in the 4.2 version you still need to lock screen and disable the plugin before rendering. Quirks that you can get around as it is very useful plugin.

  Definitely a step up from the animation tools for text within Blender, but the changes you can make to the text after creation are minimal.
