What does it generate?

A full LOD chain of decimated copies named LOD0 through LODn, ready for your game engine.

Which engines is the naming for?

The LOD0 to LODn names work with Unity LOD Groups, Unreal LODs and Godot. Export them with Export Director Pro.

Does it change my original mesh?

No. Every level is a decimated copy built from the evaluated mesh, so your original is never touched.

What presets are there?

Standard, Mobile and Hero, plus a Custom option where you set the number of levels and the final ratio.

How aggressive is each preset?

Standard is 100, 50, 25 and 12 percent. Mobile is 100, 30, 10 and 4 percent. Hero is 100, 60, 35, 20 and 10 percent.

Can I see the triangle counts?

Yes. The Triangle Report shows the count and the percentage of the original for every level after you generate.

Can I build chains for many objects at once?

Yes. Select as many meshes as you like and each one gets its own chain in one click.

What is the preview offset?

It spreads the levels apart along X so you can compare them side by side. Set it to zero to stack them in place.

What happens if I regenerate?

The previous chain for that object is replaced cleanly, even if you switch to a preset with fewer levels.

Does it respect modifiers?

Yes. Each level is built from the evaluated mesh, so modifiers like Subdivision and Mirror are included before decimation.

How do I remove a chain?

Use Clear Selected for the chains of your selected objects, or Clear All to remove every LOD in the scene.

Which Blender versions are supported?

Blender 4.2 through 5.1 plus. Pure Python with no external dependencies, on Windows, macOS and Linux.
