  So far my experience has been very positive. The developer is super active on refining the addon and has been super responsive on the discord server. I haven't gotten super deep into the more complicated workflows. But what I've used so far is smart and intuitive. I already have substance painter as a standalone (perpetual license through steam) but I don't find I've needed to go back to it yet and it is such a relief to not have to leave blender to do texturing. That's just as satisfying as not needing to spend time reviewing my spaghetti nodes piles in the shader editor. Thanks for the addon and your continued work on it! It's super exciting.

  I may not know what I'm doing; maybe because there's a lot to unpack in this robust add-on, and I am sure I will learn, but I like the features!! There is so much you can do here; its limitations are your imagination. I did something awesome by accident, texturing my Android concept mesh, and I was impressed! The only thing I can ask for, hopefully, is devs create a clear, concise tutorial on how to install properly and how to use it. Maybe I missed it, but that's all I ask for. Went to the website link, but no install/user guide. Cool add-on though for sure!! Baking, decals, painting, gradient options, so awesome!

  Outstanding addon ! I am terrible at understanding how to texture my models properly. With MatPlus it is making the process a lot easier and fun.

  Great addon! Highly recommended, especially if you miss an alternative to Substance Painter. This will be a good alternative. As an old user of Substance Painter, it's easy, and in a few hours, you can do amazing materials. The BeFX Studios team did an amazing job!

  First addon to work exactly how I wanted it the second I got it into Blender. By far the best texturing experience I have been able to get in Blender.

  I never thought I’d see anything like this. Clearly, it’s not Substance, but being able to work with layered textures is a blessing for most projects. For version 1.0, it’s very comprehensive, and with such a solid foundation, I’m sure this add-on will continue to surprise us with each update. It’s one of those add-ons that increases in value over time. The ability to work with edges and textures in such a simple way is incredible and has never been seen before in Blender. My sincere congratulations!

  I liked the add-on a lot and recommend it for anyone that is looking for an alternative to Substance Painter that doesn't require a subscription. The workflow is very similar to Substance Painter and overall I was able to use my knowledge from SP for using this add-on pretty seamlessly, without the need for constantly looking for tutorials or documentation.
  From my first project using MatPlus I found that it's not as performant as SP (it started to get laggy with lots of layers), and I did encounter a bug or two, but my overall impression was very positive.

  I recommend it 1000%!!!
  This is a fantastic addon. Total delight, for working with Materials and Textures. Its use is limited only by my Imagination.
  Texturing.- easy and simple
  Baking - was pleasantly surprised and pleased
  Layers - as many as you like.
  System - does not slow down and probably need to try to overload it
  No shortcomings noticed!!!
  Total Delight!!!
  A deep bow to the authors and new developments.
  Conclusion: B3FX Studios is always cool!
