  Although the addon performs well when stable, its reliability is inconsistent. When it breaks, progress is often lost and there is no straightforward way to recover it. The addon is prone to crashing, likely due to the underlying code, and does not always run smoothly. It crashes from time to time, though not frequently, and also suffers from broken textures and various other bugs. Furthermore, the support provided is merely average.

  We understand the criticism regarding bugs. MatPlus is an extremely complex add-on, with a massive codebase and more than a year of full-time development before its first release. We know there are issues, and we continuously fix them. In fact, we released three updates within the first two months after the add-on launched.

  What I do not agree with, nor understand, is the claim that our support is mediocre. We provide email support, a Discord channel, and even a GitHub forum where users can report bugs, and we respond as quickly as possible to every issue our users report.
