Numpad Keys for MacBook Users
Does it change any of Blender's default keys?
No. It only adds new shortcuts in the add-on's own keymap entries. Disable the add-on and they are gone — nothing else changes.
Do I still need Blender's "Emulate Numpad" option?
No, and it's better turned off. This add-on's numpad shortcuts use Option+Command, so the plain number row keeps doing its normal job (select modes, collection visibility, etc.).
Does it work with a JIS (Japanese) MacBook keyboard?
Yes. All added shortcuts exist on both US and JIS layouts except two, and each has a JIS alternative: ⌥⌘= (zoom in) is US-only, so ⌥⌘; does the same on JIS; Blender's ` shortcuts (View pie, Walk) are covered by ⌥⌘V and ⌥⇧⌘V on both layouts.
