How do I rotate the HDRI without touching the mouse?
Alt + Left/Right rotates, Alt + Up/Down changes strength (since 2.5)
Can I save several lighting setups for one HDRI?
Yes, Snapshots. Enable Auto-update so the active snapshot follows your tweaks.
Does the add-on copy or move my HDRI files?
No, it only stores paths.
Do I need the paid version of OctaneRender?

No, the free tier works. You need the Octane Prime Blender build.

Where is my global HDRI library stored?
Since 2.5.4 in %APPDATA%\Blender Foundation\Blender\5.1\config\octane_hdri_studio\ (global_hdris.json + preferences.json). Updates never touch this folder.
