How do I enable Google Fonts?
Go to Blender's Preferences > System > Network and allow Online Access. In Preferences > Add-ons > ProType, ensure Enable Google Fonts is checked.
Does ProType require an internet connection?
No. All local font workflows (System fonts, User fonts, and Custom studio folders) are 100% offline with zero network communication. Network access is only used if you choose to browse and download online Google Fonts.
Why don't I see the ProType font toolbar in my 3D Viewport?
ProType is contextual: it only appears when an active 3D Text object (FONT type) is selected in the 3D Viewport. If a mesh, curve, or camera is selected, the toolbar remains hidden to save viewport space
