Very useful !
excellent!
Good!!
Overall one of the most useful add-ons I've purchased. They changed what context properties are saved and broke all of my old projects from 1.9 to 2.0 having to go into every file and save properties that were saved before is frustrating. Rendering out all the contexts(Scenes) can be buggy and fails and then you have to switch to manually rendering each one which is frustrating. Their discord is helpful though not a fan of discord. Its live all the time making changes to anything is saved automatically when in my opinion, you should be able to save changes when you need to like a save or refresh button per scene/Context. Creating a new context duplicates the last one and switching that from a still to animation tends to break rendering out all the states. Then you have to just render them out one at a time. or go through logs and head over to discord. I find that to be a waste of time. Its worth the price maybe more. I have reservations about whether they remove core functionality from previous versions that break old files. I make products for sale and once a file is done that does not mean Its really done, customers may ask for extra options and its important render regions are saved. So the new product renders are exactly the same size as I do alot of masking and small regions. In the end I will have make a version of this for my own needs.
While it has it's flaws this is still a useful addon. If you have to render the same scene in different formats, aspect ratios or from different cameras then this will save you a lot of time. My biggest gripe is that even when you choose the variable to save the file with the name of the context, it still renders everything with the name "composite"- even when I haven't set up any compositing. Other than that it seems to work as described.

The plugin is great, but it's not working anymore in blender 4.0. Only in 3.6 and older.

Hi, thank you for the review. Please download version 1.9.1 which is compatible with Blender 4.0. We try to be up to date as much as possible. Blender 4.0 came out on November 14th, we released update on November 15th.
I think this addon is great but it has more potential.
Biggest downside for me was the file output. It has huge potential but was hard to figure out at first. It also has some limitations like automatically renaming single passes.
Unlike stated in other reviews, the support on discord was quick, responsive and very nice. I'm looking forward to the 2.0 overhaul :)
Working fine for me but the naming feature is super confusing.......I just want to name my file with the context I created on the panel but it just doesn't work at all. I don't understand at all how the auto generated folder works and I think it should make it simple. Let me type in the export file name when I choose the export path on the panel rather than in the settings. This is super frastruting and I can't even find a proper video to show how it works.....
It has a lot of potential but fails because of a few shortcomings. My biggest issue is file output. I want to be able to have a custom directory saved in each blendfile. The preference variable approach is way to limited. A custom directory path option in renderset tab would be better.
Every render is named "composite" and not named by the renderlayer. Doesn't make sense.
Also want to be able to dump ALL renders into one folder for easy access(with correct naming).
Hope it gets worked on because it has good potential.

Hi Nikolaj, thanks for the feedback! Please check out the latest release, renderset 1.7, where we incorporated some of it. You can now change the name of Composite files and we added output folder override per context. We have an output overhaul planned for renderset 2.0. Stay tuned!
I really want to rate this as 5 star, but at the moment it simply doesn't work as it should, at least not for me and several others that I have noted on the discord. The features themselves actually do work and I frustratingly can see the potential, but I can't add any more than 4 contexts, not the many, many contexts as stated. Looking at this issue on the discord it seems that other users are receiving replies that are just technical jargon, which is most unhelpful and made me think I would rather not even ask for support. Such a shame, a potentially great product that for me has a fundamental issue that could probably be quite easily rectified.
