Does Side Panel Browser work in other workspaces, such as UV Editing?
Not yet, but support for other workspaces is planned for an upcoming update.
For now, add-ons with panels located in other workspaces may not appear in Side Panel Browser, even when added to the browser list.
Temporary workaround: Uncheck those add-ons in the list to prevent them from being managed by Side Panel Browser until support is available.
Does Side Panel Browser modify other add-ons?
Side Panel Browser is designed to help organize access to add-on panels while keeping their original functionality. It does not replace their original interfaces with copied panels.
What happens if an add-on is temporarily disabled?
When the add-on becomes available again, Side Panel Browser can resume managing its panels automatically. You can also use Refresh to update the list.
What is the difference between “By Name” and “By Current Use”?
By Name sorts add-ons alphabetically. By Current Use organizes the list based on current use, helping you find frequently used add-ons more easily.
Do I need to configure my panel list for every .blend file?
No. Your managed add-on list is saved in Blender Preferences and is available across different .blend files and Blender restarts.
Does Side Panel Browser copy add-on panels into a new interface?
No. It lets you access the original panels alongside Side Panel Browser. The panels remain independent and retain their original functionality.
