This new version introduces Animation support. This is not yet the V2 with stable strokes but preparatory work towards that! 

Supa Painter 1.5.5: Animation

• New: paint whole animations in the Compositor: a rendered shot, an image sequence or a video. Try another look and only the painting runs again, never the render.
• One Frame | Animation: a switch at the top of the Compositor panel. One Frame paints a single render or image, as before. Animation walks you through four steps: Frames to Paint, Look, Paint, Runs.
• Bring in your frames with Open Clip (video or image sequence) or Render to Files (renders your shot and loads it).
• Test the look on one frame, then paint the whole shot, live or in the background (Blender 5.2+). Esc keeps the finished frames, and Resume carries on.
• Every look is kept as a run to compare. Export the frames as PNGs, or through your File Output nodes.
