Which Blender versions are supported?
TexturePilot v1.0.0 supports Blender 4.5 through Blender 5.2 and has been tested with Blender 4.5.0 and Blender 5.2.1 LTS on Windows.
Does cleanup delete my texture files from the drive?
No. The cleanup tools work with Blender Images and texture nodes. Your source texture files on disk are kept.
What is the difference between Duplicate Images and Identical Files?
Duplicate Images finds repeated Images inside the Blender file. Identical Files finds different texture files that contain matching image data.
Does TexturePilot support Packed Images and UDIM textures?
Yes. TexturePilot supports regular external textures, Packed Images and UDIM texture sets, including sparse UDIMs.
Will TexturePilot upscale small textures?
No. If a texture is already smaller than the selected proxy resolution, TexturePilot will not upscale it.
Does TexturePilot overwrite my original textures?
No. TexturePilot creates separate lower-resolution proxy textures and keeps your original texture files available.
